I don’t know how old this is, but I found it today and I want to say thank you so much! I joined Substack a long time ago and I love to write, but it overwhelmed and intimidated me so that I have only been a reader, not a writer so far.
Now I am hungry to put my words on here and see what happens. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place!
I’m new to Substack (6 weeks) and watching this friendly, in-depth conversation helps confirm my instinct that I am in the right place. Thank you, Sarah and Sophie !
I’m new here on Substack and have so far been a reader, which I absolutely enjoy and love. But I’m also a writer at heart who is overthinking the process of how and what to share, and I’m currently trying to figure out how to best get started on this platform. It was very encouraging to hear Sophia say “yes” to writers who contemplate if they should share in this or that way. To just share your writing is the essential part, as I understood it. Thank you so much to both Sophia and Sarah for this valuable and inspiring Q & A!
I love what Sophia says about "finding honesty as a writer - then you're golden"! This is exactly why I love it here so much!!
