There’s so much talk about overwhelm and burnout that it feels like it’s starting to create overwhelm and confusion. No longer! Expert guidance on how to manage notifications on Substack.
I also discovered that in the mobile app, you can set your default home screen to your inbox. It currently defaults to the Notes feed, which I find noisy and distracting for my ADHD brain. I like opening the app to my inbox and being able to choose when I engage with my Notes feed.
Are the Monthly Mastermind Cohort Calls personalized so we each get feedback on our newsletter? Or is it a time for you to share ideas about what works on Substack/what others are doing? Thanks!
Bless you, sarah, for keeping us sane on substack. The most frustrating experience I have is to have gained a 1000 followers and not being able to reach any via notes. Feels like FB altogether 🤯
I have followed these instructions, thank you! But I still cannot turn off my phone dinging with each headline help request from this group. I desperately want to turn it off! It’s interrupting my flow of writing! :)
My first month on substack was pretty overwhelming because of how fast notifications piled up but now it's something I look forward to. Less overwhelming and more anticipation for the conversations I'll partake in and even get a little inspiration for my next post.
